#HotelRoomTales: Royal Plaza Hong Kong

Visiting Hong Kong with a family of four can be quite a challenge sometimes, especially when you're trying to get a hotel room that can conveniently fits everyone. On our online searches for hotel, we stumbled upon the Royal Plaza Hotel. The hotel offers a Premium Room with two queen-sized beds which can fit four people.

On our arrival, we found that the beds were more than enough to accommodate all of us, and it was spacious for all of us to actually enjoy our stay. Despite the hotel being approximately 20 years old, the 34-square meters room that has been renovated, was in great condition. It features a cable TV, two sets of long benches, mini fridge, and water kettle (with coffee and tea sets). Even the spacious bathroom had a bathtub and shower.

Only minor dislikes I would say is the lack of lighting inside the room itself, and the pillow that is way too soft for my liking. But otherwise, the room was in perfect order!

In terms of location, it was situated conveniently at the heart of Mong Kok, within all the shopping and culinary actions you would expect in Hong Kong. The hotel also has a direct access to the MOKO shopping mall and East Mong Kok MTR (blue line). That being said, if you need to reach Mong Kok MRT (red line) you will need a 20 minutes walk, which was also doable.

The Royal Plaza is certainly a place you can consider if you're looking for an accommodation around Mong Kok area!
