YOTELAIR in Changi Airport JEWEL

I personally has always been dreading the fact that there's lack of transit hotel options in the World's Best Airport between the world-renowned 5-star Crowne Plaza attached to Terminal 3, or one of the airside nap rooms offered that pays a hourly rate. If you also dreaded the same thing, we should dread no longer, because it seems like Changi Airport has a new option for travellers like you and me.

Coming with the launch of JEWEL Changi Airport, is a 130-rooms strong YOTELAIR property. While the UK-based hotel chain has been operating in numerous European airports such as London-Gatwick, Heathrow, and Amsterdam Schiphol, notably this is the first YOTELAIR property in an Asian airport hub.

Rooms

Premium Queen – 13 sqm

Premium Queen (Accessible) – 21 sqm

Family Room – 21sqm (One queen bed + One double-decker bed)

Premium Queen

I had the opportunity to stay at one of the Premium Queen rooms during my layover in Changi Airport in April. The first impression was that the overall it was looking smart and space efficient, with the nicely-played mix of purple and yellow lighting matched perfectly with the white-toned furniture, making the 13-square metres room look adequately spacious.

The ensuite bathroom is coming with the towels, amenities, and also a rain-shower for your convenience. With the very comfortable double bed on my own facing the huge TV screen, let's call this a well-deserved layover.

Premium Queen Rates

Four hours – SGD 80

Per night – SGD 140 (promotional rate)

Shower and snack package is also available at SGD 20 per hour.

Access

YOTELAIR is in the fourth floor of JEWEL Changi Airport. Considering that JEWEL is in the public area (landside), you are required to pass through immigration in order to get to this YOTELAIR property.

So, what do you think? Will you be giving this brand-new property on your next stopover in Singapore's Changi Airport?
